Applications are now open for the 2018 (Certificate in Tribal Administration and Governance) CTAG Academy at the University of Minnesota Duluth. The intensive week long training session runs from Monday, July 30, to Friday, August 3, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The content covers key aspects of tribal administration and governance, including principles of tribal sovereignty, leadership and ethics, strategic management, project management, budgets, federal Indian law, and human resources management.
The cost is $250, which includes admission to a Fall Symposium and a Spring Retreat. Lodging, books, some meals and materials are provided. Deadline for applications is June 20.
